Millions of children and young people were robbed of years of their childhood by the sometimes completely exaggerated corona measures and school closures. Deprived of their educational opportunities, they were insulted as "pandemic drivers" without scientific evidence, overburdened psychologically and socially, their healthy development damaged, and last but not least, they and their parents were pushed into vaccination by a completely undifferentiated blanket condemnation. Instead of protecting their rights as the weakest members of our society, hardly anyone suffered as much from the measures as children and young people. The consequences are dramatic, diverse, and in some cases irreparable.

This book is the documentation of an injustice. For it is necessary to confront this scandalous policy, which was carried out at the expense of children and young people – precisely because politicians still refuse a genuine clarification. It is necessary because it simply must not happen again that political calculation, fear-driven policies, callousness, and intellectual laziness completely replace rational and evidence-based, as well as humane, decisions.

This book is an indictment on behalf of children and young people. A book against forgetting and against repetition, because after one pandemic, it is ultimately only before the next pandemic or the next reason to sideline our children in the name of supposedly higher interests.
